PRIVACY POLICY

by ROXOFT d.o.o.

This Privacy Policy applies to the app “Stop Smoking Enhanced” (further: the App) developed and owned by ROXOFT d.o.o. (further: ROXOFT, or we or us) a company registered in the Republic of Croatia, under company number 030202587 and with a registered office in Valpovo, Croatia.

This Privacy Policy explains how ROXOFT collects, stores and processes Personal Data of its users and what rights you have if we are processing your Personal Data.

It is important that you read this Privacy Policy before downloading or using the App so that you are aware of how and why we may use Data relating to you.

In addition to this notice, we encourage you to carefully read our EULA, which governs your use of the App.

What Data does ROXOFT collect, how and why ROXOFT collects Data and how it uses Data?

Personal Data (or Data) is all information that could identify you, whether directly or indirectly.

ROXOFT does not collect Data that identify you directly such as your name, date of birth, address and other, unless you provide us with them.

However, when you use the App, ROXOFT may automatically collect certain Data which could identify you indirectly and can be considered as Personal Data under General Data Protection Regulation, such as your IP address, device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID and device ID) or similar type of Data.

As we cannot provide successful operation of the App on our own, we use third party solutions in a range of ways, so we can understand e.g., how the App is being used, or how effective our marketing campaigns are. In accordance with this, we may collect some additional Data about you and your activity when you are using the App, such as: broad geographic location, device type, device language, and in-app behavior including activity such as: stop smoking progress etc.

For the purposes of developing and delivering our services, doing research and analysis, and delivering you the advertisement we might share above mentioned Data with other third-party service providers (Advertising and Analytics Partners).

Our Advertising Partners are collecting these Data directly from the App through technologies such as software development kits (SDKs). They may use Data for a number of purposes, from limiting the number of times you see an ad-to-ad personalization, so they make the ads more relevant to you based on your past activity.

At any time, you can opt-out of sharing your Data with our Advertising Partners. For more information on how to opt-out, please refer to the privacy policies, and associated links of our Advertising Partners stated in the Annex I, which is a part of this Privacy Policy and can be found at the end of the Privacy Policy.

In connection with the processing activities described above, your Data may be transferred to and/or processed in countries outside of the European Union (“EU”) and the European Economic Area (“EEA”). These countries may have Data protection laws that differ from the laws of your country. Your consent to this Privacy Policy represents your agreement to that transfer.

In case you contact us via email, note you will be sharing your personal Data. This info is used only as you would expect and deleted upon request. Optionally, you may choose to provide your email address and communicate with us via email.

Advertising

In order to provide you the App free of charge, we will show you ads in the App.

In order to show you the ads, we and our partners use identifiers for mobile devices (The Advertising ID known as IDFA on iOS, and GAID on Android devices), or similar technologies.

Those unique identifiers are not personal identifiers, but they are uniquely associated with your device. Also, these identifiers for mobile devices are used to deliver Personalized Advertising in the App.

When you install the App, we will ask you for your consent to show you Personalized Ads.

At any time, you may withdraw your consent to the personalization of advertisements on your device, in the settings, by activating “Limit Ad Tracking” on Apple devices, or activating “Opt-out of Ads Personalization” on Android devices. More about the procedure on how to opt-out from Personalized Advertising can be found on the links provided in the Annex 1.

Note, by limiting your advertising ID settings you won’t stop seeing the ads, but the ads you see may be less relevant to you.

We also advertise outside of the App on third-party websites and apps. The ad network or app involved in delivering that ad to you may, based on information such as the past activity they have associated with your Advertising ID, determine that you may be interested in the App, and therefore, show you our ad.

How does ROXOFT secure Data?

ROXOFT employs reasonable administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to help protect your Data from unauthorized access. No security, however, can eliminate the possibility that your Data may be accessed by an unauthorized third party and we cannot guarantee that your Data will remain secure in all situations.

How long does ROXOFT keep Data?

ROXOFT will keep your Data for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose(s) for which they were collected.

After the applicable retention period, we will delete your Data. We may continue to use Data that are not identifiable to you (for example, Aggregated Data).
